I personally know this couple. See Actual burial here . LOGAN, Utah Funeral services were held Nov. 23 in Logan, Utah, for Gordon R. Peterson, 86, of Minot, who died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in a Mandan care center. Burial was in Logan. He was born June 1, 1926, to Anthon and Gladys Peterson, in Logan. He served in the Navy from 1944 to 1947. He married Joan Smart on Feb. 27, 1971, in Encino, Calif. Survivors: wife, Minot; son, Dale, California; daughters, Eileen Twitchell, Seattle, Katy Woodbury, Colorado, Maureen Peterson, Utah; stepson, James Carter, Fayetteville, Ga.; stepdaughters, Terry Roitz, Aliso Viejo, Calif., Linda Carter, Minot, Cathy Walker, Scottsdale, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandson.
