Mrs. Liddie Ella Wilemon, age 81 of 2418 20th Ave. N., passed away Tues. a.m. at a local hospital. Survived by 1 son, Acie wilemon of Altoona, Ala.; 4 daughters, Mrs. Elsie Redmond, Mrs. Annie Bell Morton, and Mrs. Flossie Lambert all of B'ham., Mrs. Ethel Murphree of Oneonta; 3 sisters, Mrs. Mary Blakeley and Mrs. Etta Blakeley and Mrs. Lillie Jackson of Boaz, Ala.; 4 brothers, Edward Gilliland of B'ham, Jessie Gilliland of Boaz, Lonnie Gilliland & Dewey Gilliland both of Steele, Ala.; 6 grandchildren, 8 grandchildren. Funeral service will e held Wed. 2 p.m. at Antioch Methodist Church (Blount County) interment adjoining cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Wadsworth & Rev. Cyrus Kitchens officiating. The remains will lie in state at the residence. Brown-Service Norwood, directing. Wilemon, son of James Sartin Wilemon and Mary. He was born 9 Apr 1884 in Altoona, Etowah County, Alabama, and died 21 May 1958 in Blount County, Alabama.
