Bio

Funeral services for Noviree Parrish, 83, of Corrigan were held in the Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Union Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Parrish was born February 3, 1920 and passed away Thursday, November 27, 2003 in a Lufkin hospital. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnnie Eaton; her second husband, Orville Parrish; sons, Arthur R. Eaton, Sr. and Dewey Eaton; great-grandchildren, Tamara Eaton, and Terry Eaton; and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters-in-law, Lou Eaton of Corrigan and Elaine Eaton of Spring; grandchildren, Arthur R. and Linda Eaton, Jr. of Corrigan, Johnny R. and Deidre Eaton of Corrigan; Scotty and Jeanie Eaton of Corrigan, Tommy Eaton of Segno and Lori Eaton of Rohnert Park, California; and sister, Nellie Brooks of Corrigan. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
