In Memory of: Wiley Weldon Ellis June 1, 1921 - December 19, 2015 BURLESON -- Wiley Ellis, 94, was born June 1, 1921 in Wichita Falls, Texas the fifth of six children born to Edward Lee Ellis and Letitia Ann Inman Ellis and passed away December 19, 2015. He was a veteran of World War II serving his country in the European Theater of operations. He fought in France, Belgium and Germany. He attained the rank of Corporal and was honorably discharged from the Army in 1946. Preceded in death by his parents, siblings and his first wife of fifty one years, Dora Owen Ellis. Survived by his second wife of eleven years, Virginia Brown Ellis. Graveside service in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth.
