Funeral services for Gerald Harrison Wilha, 72, of Snook, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 1998, at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Caldwell with Jim Edge officiating. Interment followed in the Snook Cemetery. Visitation was held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 1998, and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8 1998, at Strickland Funeral Home. Mr. Wilha died Thursday, November 5, 1998, in Bryan. He was born October 13, 1926, in Merle. He was a lifetime resident of Snook. He was a retired rancher and member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lottie Bird and Libbie Idella Wilha; and two brothers, Ernest Wilha and Joseph George Wilha.es Wilha of Merle and Merle Wilha of Caldwell; and two sisters, Frances Taylor of Caldwell and Sybil Gray of North Palm Springs, California.
