Mary HAVRANEK; 18; May 1904 record 14303 Monday, January 22, 1951 Paper: Omaha World-Herald (Omaha, Nebraska) Page: 22 Joseph Fous, 70, former Omaha Fire Department captain, died Saturday in a hospital. Mr. Fous came to Omaha 66 years ago from Czechoslovakia. He retired from the Fire Department in 1939 after 21 years service. Surviving are his wife, Mary; daughters, Mrs. Helen Roehrig, Mrs. Jacob Blatny, Mrs. Lillian Noah; brother, Stanley; sisters, Mrs. Anna Schlick, Mrs. Carrie Bozdek, all of Omaha, and Mrs. Marie Hillborn, Missouri Valley, Ia. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Brewer Korisko Mortuary; the Rev. Joseph Holub officiating. Burial will be at Bohemian National Cemetery.
