According to Mr. Guthrie's death certificate, he is buried at Waco Memorial Park, McLennan County, Texas. Vincent Guthrie's parents, James Theophilus Guthrie and Mary LaVicy Gilchrest Guthrie, as well as several siblings, are buried at Moody Cemetery, McLennan County, Texas. A sister, Cynthia Watkins, is buried at Andrews Cemetery.
