Bio

Nellie was born circa 1864 in Wyandotte, Kansas to Mary Hayden and William Curran. She lived in Leavenworth, Kansas from 1865 - 1885 and worked as a dress maker per the 1880 Census. She married Andrew O'Rourke on 13 October 1886 in St. Marys, Pottawatomie, Kansas. The couple moved to Fort Worth, Tarrant, Texas in 1890. She had 5 sons and died in Forth Worth, Texas two months after the birth of Joseph Leo probably due to complications from the birth. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters. She was a beautiful life cut short.
