Bio

To all of you who loved me: rejoice in my life. Don't cry for me but watch for the hummingbirds and the butterflies because that is where I will be. Louise Childs Watts died peacefully at her West Layton home on December 5, 2015. She was born on April 3, 1923 to Dimick and Belle Wheeler Childs in Springville, Utah. Louise married her high school sweetheart Burns Watts on December 10, 1943 in Seattle, Washington. She is survived by daughter, Judy Brady and husband Drew W. Browning of Kaysville; sons, Steven and wife Michele Martin Watts of Portland, Oregon; Paul and wife Isabell Love Watts of Layton; and John and wife Katie Thacker Watts of Boise, Idaho; eight grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and brother-in-law, Platte Watts. Louise was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After 68 years of marriage and a life devoted to family, friends, hard work and fun times, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Burns in June 2012. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Ned and Fred Childs.
