Bio

Jane was the beloved daughter of Henry Day and Rosannah Tarter. She married Rufus G. Newland in Leavenworth, Kansas on September 24, 1844. She was the dear mother of Delia, David Edward, Addie, Harvey K. and Anna Laura. Jane was the devoted sister of John Harvey, James, Nicholas Tarter, David Henry, Jesse Newberry, and Mary Justice.
