Lena Ludene Bushman Peterson 1926 - 2015 Lena Ludene Bushman Peterson daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother returned home to her Heavenly Father, at the age of 89, on December 5, 2015, of multiple myeloma. She was born September 9, 1926, to John and Elfreda Bushman and was born and raised in Lehi, Utah. She married Ronald C. Peterson June 19, 1946, in the Salt Lake Temple. They brought four children into the world: Ronald, Kathleen, Kevin, and Jeffrey. Ron died February 27, 1994, after 48 years of marriage. Ludene was a hard worker taking care of and earning a living for the family. She worked many jobs in her life, ending with her favorite as the secretary of Lehi Elementary School for 25 years. A very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she held many callings in Primary, Young Women and Relief Society. Her favorite was spent working in the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple for 13 years. She enjoyed crocheting afghans for her family. She loved reunions, gardening, exercising, shopping, and camping. Ludenen's family meant everything to her. They were her pride and joy, most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her three sons and one daughter; Ronald K. (Adriana) Peterson, Kevin D. (Shauna) Peterson, Jeffrey L. (Sheree) Peterson, all of Lehi, Kathleen (Kent) Hadlock; of Vernal. Seventeen Grandchildren and 35 Great Grandchildren. One brother, Wayne Bushman, Payson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother; Keith Bushman, sister; Ilah Hadfield, daughter-in-law Katherine Fulbrook Peterson, one grandson Bret Peterson.
