Carl's marker is alongside the graves of Lena Mae Smith, and George Martin, and near Mabel Anne Martin, (George) Doyle Martin, Bobby Gene Martin, Preston H. Martin and Robbie Melba Martin.
Master Sergeant Martin was a Supply NCO assigned to Company A, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, U.S. Army; Korea. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on 2 November 1950. He was presumed dead on 31 December 1953.
