Bio
June 10, 1925 to November 18, 2015 Irma Gohlke was born on June 10, 1925, to Ernest and Bonnie Staples in Tuleta, Texas. She married the love of her life, Nelson Gohlke, March 12, 1948. They shared 65 beautiful years together. Irma was a beautiful, kind, loving, strong woman who blessed this world with her presence. Anyone who had the honor of knowing her will be forever changed and deeply blessed by having had her in their lives. She is survived by three children: Tracy Brasuell, Mark Gohlke and Karen Holland. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. There are no words that can describe what a beautiful person she was and how deeply she will be missed. They say that angels walk the earth with us and we know firsthand that she was one of them. A viewing was held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 24 at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel, 390 N. Second St., Woodburn. A graveside funeral was at 2 p.m. at Belle Passi Cemetery in Woodburn.
