Bio

Daughter of Cama Jane Coats and William Bryan. Little is known regarding her father beyond his name. Margaret's mother was still legally married to George Henry Perdue, of Illinois, when Margaret was born, and a year later when Cama married William Amott in Cardston. Divorce records from Utah show that her mother abandoned William Amott and children during 1908 in Utah. Margaret was taken in by Joseph and Amy (Williams) Perry, residing in Cleveland, Idaho in the 1910 census. She was joined by her half-sister, Cama Ruth Amott, in the 1920 census home of the Perry family in Logan, Utah. No formal adoption papers have been found. Margaret was married to Frederick Everett Stromquist, as of her mother's obituary in 1934. She later married Floyd Leonard Draper, with daughter Cama Jane Draper born to the couple.
