Bio

Mr. James D. Hullett, 71, of Dawson, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at the Providence Health Center in Waco, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Bancroft and Mr. James Hesson officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Hamilton Beeman Cemetery. James was born in Trumbull, Texas, to the late David Troy and Ruby Ruth Harwell Hullett. He was a veteran who had proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his older brother, David Hullett. Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of Dawson; daughters: Karen Asbill and husband, Chris, of Purdon, Sharon Conanan and husband, Adam, of Waxahachie, and Erin Hullett, of Corsicana; grandchildren: Chelsea Ybarra and husband, Alex, of Corsicana, Miranda French and husband, J.J., of Purdon, Caden Hullett, of Dawson, Austin Conanan, of Waxahachie, Branden Hullett, of Corsicana, Kayla Hullett, of Corsicana, and Autumn Conanan, of Waxahachie; great-grandchildren: Zane Savoy, of Purdon, Kaytelynn French, of Purdon, and Carter Ybarra, of Corsicana; sister, Patsy Graham, of Garland; brothers, Kenneth Hullett, of Kemp, Steve Hullett and wife, Patricia, of Gun Barrel City, and William Hullett and wife, Janice, of Rice; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
