Bio
Valerian served in the US Army. Valerian married Janet Carol Schroeder on May 2, 1959 in Manley, Nebraska. They are the parents of Shelly & Russell. Valerian "Val" W. Rezac, 77 of Touhy, NE, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln. He was born September 5, 1938 near Valparaiso, NE to Stanley and Mary (Kouma) Rezac. Val graduated from Valparaiso High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army until he was honorably discharged. On May 2, 1959, he was married to Janet Schroeder in Manley, NE. Val farmed for most of his life a mile West of Touhy and in 1965 he started Rezac Fertilizer that he operated for many years. Val was a member of St. Vitus Catholic Church in Touhy and the American Legion Post #371. He loved visiting with friends at Tuffy's in Touhy. He also enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and coyote hunting. He is survived by children: Shelly (Jim) Mayo of Valparaiso and Russell Rezac of Valparaiso; grandchildren: Lyndsie Mayo, Lyshelle Mayo, Lyssa Mayo, Audrey Rezac, and Blayne Rezac; sisters: Marlene Benes of Valparaiso and Geraldine (Gerald) Sehnert of Dorchester, NE; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife Janet Rezac and parents Stanley and Mary Rezac.
