Bio
Nancy Probert died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas. Nancy was born April 23, 1944 in Denver, Colorado the daughter of Harry Victor and Mildred Vera (Ackels) Saathoff. She was raised and educated in Cheyenne and graduated from East High School in 1962. She was married to Gary Way in Cheyenne and they later divorced. She married Frankie R. Probert on December 16, 1976 in Cheyenne. They moved to Douglas in 1979 where she worked for the Converse County School District #1 for one year. She began a career working as an administrative assistant to the hospital administrator and as a medical staff coordinator at the Memorial Hospital of Converse County for the past 36 years. She enjoyed cooking for the family, garage sales, sewing, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Frank, of Douglas; children, Greg (Jodi) Way of Parker, Colorado, Kim Elser of Casper, Wyoming, Lori Way of Douglas, Dusty (Judy) Probert of Laramie, Wyoming, and Nicole Marie LaJeunesse of Denver, Colorado; siblings, Bill Watts, Colleen LeFebbre, and Kim Fulton all of Billings, Montana; twelve grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
