Bio
Dr. Donald C Reynolds, 96 of Germntown, a Professor Emeritus at the Southern College of Optometry, died Wednesday August 26, 2020 at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital. Dr. Reynolds was committed to teaching and was a graduate of the School of Optometry at the University of California Berkeley and the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. He was a member of the American Optometric Association and Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. A California native, Dr Reynolds was a retired Commander in the Navy Medical Service Corps, he served 26 years before moving to Memphis in 1975. Dr Reynolds was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam. Dr. Reynolds was the husband of the late Jacqueline A Reynolds. He is survived by his niece Cynthia Fulton of Olympia Washington. In lieu of flowers, Dr Reynolds requested any memorials be sent to St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Memphis.
