Early, famous Hollywood personality, dancer and world traveler. Her last marriage was to William Randolph Hearst Jr. ______________________________ Sandra was originally Dorothy Rambo and is someone out of the pages of Alexandre Dumas, or something. A slim, long limbed, gray-eyed blond. She arrived in Manhattan in 1933 and in the seven years that have skidded by, she has been in turn wooed — and reported won for a time by a famous booking agent, a Maharajah, a Hindu prince, an American playboy, a royal prince of England, a French-Argentine multimillionaire and now, finally, a powerful Nazi general. During lulls between fiances and finances, the glorious Sandra's escorts have included a famous cartoonist, a bunker's son, a distinguished Wall Street tycoon and a United States Senator among others too numerous to mention—but all of them always promising. Married or not, this much international society has known—that the American girl has become the most powerful woman in occupied France. Her influence is said to be greater than was Du Barry's or the ill-fated Countess de Portes, mistress of Paul Reynaud, at their height. A word from the lovely Sandra has saved patricians from the concentration camps and peasants from the axe. She has won favor for Nazi officials temporarily in disfavor. Some say she is the actual ruler of Paris...
