Bio
Clarence Roy Pitrucha, 77, passed away on August 23, 2006 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was born on March 4, 1929 in Temple, TX. He served in the USAF for 17 years and left as a Major in 1964. He was a VP and construction engineer with Tobin and Rooney for 42 years. Roy had a BS degree from Sacramento State University and a Civil Engineering degree from Texas A&M, where he was a member of Tau Beta Pi. He was a member of the Briar Club for 40 years and had served on their Board for 3 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Cecile Pitrucha; sister, Ruth Tyroch; and brother, Ben Pitrucha, and is survived by his sister, Gladys Chupik. Roy is also survived by his wife of 53 years, Norma; daughter, Patrice and husband Gary Cummings and their children Andrew and Amanda; and son, Roy Alan and wife Laura Pitrucha and their sons Matthew and Daniel.
