Father's obit MILFORD — Funeral services for James Monroe Bearden, 84, a resident of Milford for 49 years, were conducted Saturday afternoon at the First Methodist Church here with the Rev A J Wormwood, pastor, officiating Burial followed in the Milford Cemetery under the direction of the Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home of Milford. Mr. Bearden, who died at 8:55 pm. Friday, was born on Dec. 12, 1879 in Mountain Peak A retired farmer, he was a member of the First Methodist Church of Milford. Survivors include three daughters. Miss. Amy Bearden of Milford, Mrs. Mamie Malone and Mrs. Etta Stokes, both of Shreveport, La.; a son, George Bearden of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a brother, Claude Bearden of Edmond, Okla ; and three sisters, Miss Fannie Bearden of Waxahachie, Mrs Celia Lindille of Fort Worth and Mrs Anna Lee Buckner of Dallas.
