Aetna L. Taylor Aetna L. Taylor, 84, of Sweetwater died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, in Sweetwater. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006, in the Highland Heights United Methodist Church with the Revs. Roger Mobley and Ron Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater. Visitation will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, March 10, in the funeral home. Mrs. Taylor was born on May 20, 1921, in Fisher County. She married Bryant Taylor on Nov. 26, 1936, in Dallas. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Highland Heights United Methodist Church and a lifelong resident of Sweetwater. She worked for Walls and Roscoe Drapery and Colorado City as a seamstress. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Wade and her husband, Orin, of Midland; three sons, L.B. Taylor and his wife, Martha, and Doug Taylor and his wife, Jenene, all of Sweetwater, and Dennis Taylor and his friend, Niki, of Bedford; one sister, Katherine Smith and her husband, Lowell, of Fritch; 15 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
