Bio

He was first married to Nellie (Adams) Casteel, who died in 1909. He later married Bertha (Bowman) Fletcher Casteel, who died in 1943. He was survived by a son, Walter H. Casteel of Hopwood RD1; two brothers, John Casteel of Bedford and Daniel Casteel of Loysburg; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Burial was made in the Clearville Union Cemetery.
