PROMINENT NOLAN, FISHER RANCHMAN, ROSS CLARK, DIES Roscoe, Dec. 11 - Ross Clark, 62, resident of Nolan and Fisher Counties since 1907, died at his home here at 7 p.m. Saturday following a heart attack. He was a prominent stockman and farmer in this area. His farm was located just over the county line in Fisher County, but his home was at 507 Cypress St. in Roscoe. A native of Smith County, he was born June 18, 1893. He moved to Nolan County from Comanche County in 1907. He married the former Beulah McGothlin on Dec. 25, 1914 in Snyder. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Graham of Roscoe; three grandchildren; two brothers, Claude C. Clark of Hermleigh, and J. R. Clark of Dalhart; two sisters, Mrs. Addie Adams of Amarillo and Mrs. J. B. Lake of Roby. Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Roscoe Church of Christ with the Bill Haynes, minister, officiating. He will be assisted by Lemoine Lewis of Abilene. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery under direction of Wells Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Edd Hobbs, W. R. Potter, J. T. Johnson, John Bostick, W. D. Walker, J. C. Tomlin, B. M. Cooper, and G. W. Bennett.
