ELLERY CLEVELAND "PETE" BROWN JR. was the son of Ellery "Elry" Cleveland Brown Sr. and Mrs. Clara Maudie (Dyer) Brown. Obituary Graveside services for Ellery C. "Pete" Brown Jr., 67, of Kilgore, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery, with Dr. Jay Lockhart officiating, with arrangements under direction of Memorial Funeral Home West of Tyler. Mr. Brown died Saturday in a Tyler hospital. He was born October 23, 1923 in Nashville, Arkansas. He moved to Kilgore after living in Tyler for several years. He was a member of the Church Of Christ, and he worked as an electronics repairman for Sears. He was veteran of U.S. Army's 120th Calvary. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Chloe Clark of Tyler; a brother-in-law, Roy Clark of Tyler; four nephews; and two nieces. If desired, memorials may be made to West Erwin Church Of Christ Building Fund or East Texas Christian Academy.
