Bio

David Lee Brown, 77, of Arlington passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at his home. David was born Jan. 17, 1938, in Dallas to William Brown and Ruby Mae Odel Brown. He was a graduate of South Oak Cliff High School and attended UTA. David married Roberta A. "Bobbie" Nycum on June 27, 1959, in Dallas. He served in the United States Army for seven years and was honorably discharged Aug. 9, 1962. David worked at LTV (now Lockheed Martin) for 36 years as a graphic artist. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and had a passion for history and sports. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: His wife, Bobbie Brown of Arlington; son, Kevin K. Brown of Arlington; daughter, Cheree Rooney and her husband, Mike, of Bridgeport; and brother, Bill Brown of Dallas.
