Bio

Billy Stewart passed away peacefully at his residence in Grand Prairie, Texas on November 13, 2015 at age 85. Billy was born to George Samuel and Hattie Walls Stewart on May 13, 1929 in Ridgeway, Hopkins County Texas. Mr. Stewart proudly served his country during the Korean War. He was decorated for his service during the Korean war. Billy was a lifetime employee of Timco, LTV, and Vought aeronautics where he also proudly served his country until his retirement. Survivors include a daughter, Sheila G. Stewart of Grand Prairie, Texas, a grandson, William Shanklin Jones also of Grand Prairie, Texas. and many nieces and nephews. Billy was preceded In death by his parents, his loving wife, Jo Ann Shanklin Stewart. He was also preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers. A Military gravesite service will be held at Shady Grove Cemetery, Grand Prairie, Texas on November 18, 2015.
