Services for Glen Willeford, 65, of Gilmer will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 13, 2015 at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel in Diana. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Mattox Cemetery. He passed away November 10, 2015 at his residence. Glen was born July 23, 1950 in Gilmer, Texas to James Clinton and Della Jean Willeford. He worked as an air conditioner repairman and was of the Baptist faith. Glen was a wonderful father to his son, Scott and a great husband to Brenda. Since his retirement, he has been the caretaker to the family; doctor visits, cooking meals, cleaning, and yard work. You name it, he did it. On the night he left us, he had a good day. He was watching TV, reclined back and went to sleep. He is now with God. Glen is survived by his loving wife of 46 ½ years, Brenda Willeford, son: Scott Willeford, sisters and brother-in-law: Gail Rigsby and Vicki and Don Boyd, brother: Steve Willeford, mother-in-law: Wilma Wright, sisters-in-law and husbands: Vickie and Rick Powell, Debbie and Jim Beavers, brother-in-law and wife: John and Pam Singley, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be Adam Hendrix, Rick Powell, Jim Beavers, Gary Conner, Ronnie Hendrix and Chuck Willeford.
