Virginia Mae Pierce, age 77, of Monahans passed away Monday, August 21, 2006, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She was born on August 30, 1928 in Pampa, Texas. She was a Homemaker. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2006 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Monahans with Brother Larry Bennett, Brother Everett Hewitt, and Brother Wayne Yandle officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Harkey Family Funeral Services. Survivors include her sons, Roy Lynn Proctor of Monahans and Randy Lee Crowson of Houston, and her 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Roy Rodgers and Hazel Hewitt, and her husband V.E. Red Pierce.
