Bio
Mary Ann Turk went to be with the Lord November 2, 1015 at the age of 52. She was born in San Antonio, TX to Genevieve and Franklin Turk who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gregory Turk. Mary Ann was a graduate of The University of Dallas. Following college she spent a year in France and Italy studying, tutoring and touring.She also had the opportunity to visit Poland and Rome. For the past 25 years Mary taught 3rd grade and recently was teaching middle school at St. Luke's Catholic School where she made many friends. Her life was filled with love for family, friends, school and her church community. She had a bubbly personality and could always make light of a difficult situation.She is survived by her 2 brothers and their spouses, 2 nephews, aunt and uncle, and numerous cousins and a host of dear friends. Like her mother Mary was a great cook & hostess who prepared many wonderful meals for family gatherings. She loved a long succession of cats that she thoroughly spoiled. Mary was loved by all who knew her and she made a positive impact on the boys and girls she taught. Mary lived life largely and always enjoyed a good glass of wine with her friends. She will be missed. Mass was celebrated at 10:30 AM Thursday, November 5, 2015 at St. Luke's Catholic Church. Entombment followed.
