Jacob V Lord was the son of Thomas Hobart Lord and Mercy Jane Foster. Married Sarah Jane Moore 1879. They had 5 children. Thomas, Newton, Mary Ann, Norma and Edward. They divorced 1893 Married Elizabeth Goforth on August 24, 1895.Their children are as follows: Sarah Jane Lord 1898– Harvey Montgomery Lord 1900–1929 William Lester Lord 1903–Florence Lord 1908–1998 Everett L Lord 1915–Mildred Laura Lord 1916–2006. They lived about 10 years in Snohomish County, Washington until Elizabeth wanted to go to Colorado to see her brother William G Goforth and wife Cynthia. Elizabeth died in 1930.
