LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, Thu., Aug. 8, 1985: 'Funeral services for Cleatus Hall, 130-7th SW, were held Saturday, Aug. 3, at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hall died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born Sep 15, 1906, in Deer Lodge, TN, a son of William Houston Hall and Hamie Jones Hall. He moved to TX as a child and on July 2, 1938, he married Thelma Hightower in Petty. They moved to Paris in 1951 where he was employed by the Parks Department of the City of Paris for 27 years. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Betty Bell, Rt. 1, Sumner; two grandsons, Jimmy Dean Glenn and Michael Ray Glenn; two great-grandchildren, Tabitha and James Glenn; a brother, Perry Hall of Paris; and several cousins.'
