Thanks to FAG Contributor, diaNEB (47466150), for the following obituary. ------------------------------- Born in Los Angeles, Calif. to Phillip and Helen (L'Heureux) McGerty. Attended school in Minieapolis, Minn. and moved to Grand Island in 1954. Graduated from Grand Island Central Catholic in 1965. Worked for the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant in Grand Island and then moved to Columbus where she worked for Becton-Dickinson in Columbus; also Hudson Oil Company in Grand Island and did home care. Member of St. Mary's Cathedral. Survived by her mother, Helen Maxson of Grand Island; one sister, Sharon Somer of Grand Island and aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by her father in 1954 and her step father, Lesther(sic) Maxson in 1985.
