Robert "Bob" Joseph Mallett, age 80, of Mesquite, Texas, was born September 20, 1935, in Memphis Tennessee. He passed away at his home surrounded by family on October 18, 2015, after a long illness. Int he Air Force for 20 years, he retired after a distinguished career as a Master Sargent. Upon retirement, he ran a successful audio visual company before taking to the road with his wife to sell handmade jewelry, and other items at trade shows around the country. He is preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Ruthie Graham Mallett, his parents, Woodrow and Veda Mallett, and sisters, Aileen Bolt, and Glenda Burdette. He is survived by his children; sons, Terry Mallett, Woody Mallett, and fiancé, Lesia Holt; daughter, Kelly Mallett Kimbrough, and husband, Marty; step-daughter, Summer Shehane; grandchildren, Kandy Svaldsen, and husband, John, Robert Mallett, and wife, Kim, Woody Mallett, and wife, Sarah, Ashten Seay, Courtney, and husband, Captain Michael Knight, Kaitlin Shehane, Trent Shehane; brother, Gary Mallett, and wife, Judy; sisters, Neil Collinsworth, and husband, Jackie, and Jennie Baker, and husband, James; as well as several great grandchildren, and scored of friends.
