Services for Richard C. Steel- man, 54, Tyler, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, at St. Francis Epis- copal Church with the Rev. Bill Cook officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery under direction of Burks- Walker-Tippit Funeral Directors, Tyler. Mr. Steelman died Dec. 17 in a Tyler hospital. He was born Oct. 5, 1947, in Vivian, La. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He lived in Shreveport, La., prior to moving to Tyler 34 years ago and was a petroleum landman. He was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church, East Texas Landmen Asso- ciation and National Association of Professional Landmen. Survivors include his wife, Patty Steelman, Tyler; daughter, Erin Steelman, Tyler; mother, Ada Lou Clark, Tyler; and brothers, Harry Steelman, Tyler, and Sterling Steel- man, Jacksonville. Pallbearers are Larry Dixon, Randy Womack, Russ Clower, Gerry Tucker, David Irby and David John- son. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Halbert, Sam Trant, Dan Hall, Ken McKinley, John Champion, Rodney Vance and Raymond Koonce. Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics.
