Ratliff City - Funeral Services for Mrs. Kyla Renee' (Kelley) Jones, 33, formerly of Fox are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Ratliff City with Rev. Ricky Williams, Rev. Jamie Griffin and Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at the Milo Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson. Kyla was born June 30, 1982 at Pauls Valley to Frankie Gene Kelley and Reona Faye Doughty. She went to be with the Lord and Savior Wednesday morning October 14, 2015 at her parents home in Fox. Kyla primarily was raised at Fox attending school there. She enjoyed playing in the band and cheerleading during her attendance there. She graduated from Fox High School in 2000. Afterwards she attended college at Oklahoma Baptist University and then Oklahoma University before finishing her Bachelors degree at Southeastern Oklahoma State University at Durant. Kyla married Mr. Jonathan "Jon" D. Jones on May 21, 2005 at the Ratliff City First Baptist Church. They made their home at Moore where Kyla soon began her teaching career as an Elementary educator. She enjoyed teaching as long as she was able. Jon and Kyla were blessed with their son Jackson in 2010. Kyla was always trying to help others. She loved providing her excellent cosmetic assistance to anyone and was always a friend to anyone in need. She favored several genres of music and was an avid OU Sooner Fan. Most currently, Kyla and her family had been attending worship services at the Journey Church of Norman where she loved the Praise and Worship. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Raymond Doughty, Lloyd Nipper, Gene Maxwell, Robert Griffin, G.W. Kelley, Mildred Chandler, and Garvin Chandler; cousins, Ashley Kelley and Cameron Nelson; aunt, Sheryl Kelley and uncle, Weldon Doughty. Survivors include her loving husband Jon Jones and their son Jackson Jones of the home; Parents, Jamie and Reona Griffin of Fox and Frankie Kelley of Healdton; sister Ramie Dickinson and husband Matt; Grandparents, Nonie Nipper and Daloras Griffin Martin, all of Healdton; parents in love, Lesley and Rebecca Jones; brother and sister in love, Jeremy and Tracy Jones , all of Ratliff City; grandmothers in love, Elvia "Bill" Fore of Healdton and Neta Jones of Ratliff City; numerous nieces and nephews and other family. Casket Bearers are Cory Bohannan, Michael Murphy, Ronnie Hayes, II, Roger Graham, Matt Dickinson and Matthew Doughty. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Friday, October 16, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the "Kourage for Kyla" account at the First Bank & Trust of Healdton for Annual Scholarship recipients.
