Louis M. Genzer GALVESTON — Funeral services for Louis M. Genzer will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2002, at Second Baptist Church in La Grange, Texas with the Rev. Ellis McKinzie officiating. Burial will follow at La Grange City Cemetery. Mr. Genzer died Monday, May 13, 2002, at his residence in Galveston where he had lived for the past four years. He is formerly of La Grange. He was a master carpenter and member of Gideons, Habitat for Humanity and the Galveston Historical Society. He was a current member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Galveston and former member of Second Baptist Church of La Grange. He is married to Rebecca Bain Genzer. They were married on December 9, 1995, in La Grange. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Genzer of Galveston and one daughter Kathy Genzer of La Marque. Visitation for Louis Genzer will be after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday May 15, 2002, at Sergeant Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.
