First marriage to Addie Spurlock on 15 January 1911 in Grant co., AR Married second, Anna Lee Davis, June 20, 1915, Grant Co., Arkansas. Anna Lee Davis is the daughter of Henry Davis. * * * Son of Thomas Jennings Ashcraft and Margaret M. Johnson Ashcraft * * * Pine Bluff Commercial Pine Bluff, Jefferson Co., Arkansas Thursday, February 28, 1974 J. O. Ashcraft James O. Ashcraft, 82, of 820 Florida Street, died Wednesday at Jefferson Hospital. He was a retired farmer. A native of Grant County, he was a son of the late T. J. and Margaret Johnson Ashcraft. He was educated in Grant County Schools. He married the former Anna Lee Davis in Grant County and she died in 1967. He was a member of Ain Baptist Church in Grant County. Survivors include three sons, Arthur C. Ashcraft of Gould, Hogan Ashcraft of Grady and E. V. Ashcraft of Pine Bluff; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Ross and Mrs. J. Roy Fikes, both of Pine Bluff, and Mrs. J. O. Knight of Gould; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 PM Friday at the Ain Baptist Church by Reverend C. N. Glover, Reverend E. V. Appling and Reverend William Ashcraft. Burial will be in Ain Cemetery by South Funeral Home.
