Bio

FRIONA — Jean Baize, 93, of Friona died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in Friona Cemetery with Jeff Procter, minister of Sixth St. Church of Christ in Friona, officiating. Arrangements are by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona. Mrs. Baize was born Aug. 16, 1922, in Gatesville to Henry and Paralee Webb Clark. She married Selwyn Duane Baize on Oct. 8, 1945. Survivors include four sons, S.D. Baize of Flower Mound, Danny Baize of Roscoe and Randy Baize and Robin Baize, both of Friona; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Prairie Acres Nursing Home, 201 E. 15th St., Friona, TX 79035. (Published in Amarillo Globe-News, Oct. 10, 2015)
