James V. Chapman James V. Chapman, 67, of Lamesa, Tex., died in a local hospital Sunday. He was a retired plumber, a member of the Baptist church and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alice Lenna Chapman of Lamesa; his mother, Mrs. Sallie Chapman of Lamesa; five sons, Ronald R. Chapman of Dallas, Donald R. Chapman, Doyle Chapman, William E. Chapman and Stuart Keigh Chapman, all of Austin; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Miniix and Mrs. Edna Berry, both of Lamesa and 15 grandchildren. The body was taken to Lamesa for services and burial. Arrangements are pending at Branon Funeral Home in Lamesa.
