JACKSON, Raymond Robert. The Pulaski Citizen 27 Oct 1965. Funeral services for Raymond Robert Jackson, 76, retired Minor Hill merchant, were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the chapel of Bennett-May Funeral Home, conducted by Ed Harper, Church of Christ minister. Burial took place in Hester Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Jackson died at 11 o'clock Friday night, October 22, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Parmenas Cox, in Pulaski. Born October 4, 1889, at Lester in Limestone County, Ala., he was the son of the late J. S. Jackson and Lydia Jane Ridgeway Jackson. His wife, Mrs. Emma Lee Wright Jackson, died November 18, 1955. In addition to Mrs. Cox, Mr. Jackson is surived by another daughter, Mrs. Cleatos Hagood, Tullahoma; four sons, Ross Jackson, Stonewall Jackson, Sr., DeWitt Jackson, and Jerry Jackson, all of Minor Hill; nineteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charlie Jackson, Detroit, Mich.
