R.M. Bain BIG SPRING- Services for R.M. (Blackie) Bain, 77, of Big Spring, stepfather of Jesse Fulcher of Odessa and Billy David Fulcher of Midland, were scheduled for 4 p.m. today in Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home Rosewood Chapel with burial in Trinity Memorial Park. Bain died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday in a Big Spring hospital following an illness. He was born Dec. 23, 1900, in Denton County and moved to Big Spring in 1918 from there. Bain was a fayer and blacksmith, retiring in 1973. He married Nanie Leone Townsend April 23, 1940, in Big Spring. He was a member of Oddfellows Lodge. Survivors also include his wife, two sons, five daughters, another stepson, two brothers, seven sisters, 29 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The Odessa American Tue, Nov 28, 1978 ·Page 2
