Published in the Aug 1975 Minutes of Old Mt. Zion Association of Free Will Baptist Guy Ellington Guy Ellington, 80, of Brightwater, died Sunday, March 2, 1975 at the Bates Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 21, 1894, near Garfield. A veteran of WWI, he was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church and Pea Ridge Masonic Lodge No 119 of Brightwater. He is survived by his wife, Emma Hays Ellington, of the home; two sons, Wallace M. Ellington of Wichita, Kan, and Guy Ellington, Jr. of Garfield; one daughter, Mrs. Wanda Louise Hendrix, of Rogers; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were in teh Freedom Church with the Rev. Bruce Phillips officiating. Added per 47329127, 3-28-2020.
