In Memoriam T.A. WHITE Nov. 10, 1914 ~ Mar. 29, 2009 T.A. White passed away March 29, 2009, at Memorial Heights Nursing Home. He was 94 years old. T.A. was born to Charlie and Birdie White on Nov. 10, 1914, in Arkansas. T.A. lived in McCurtain County all his life with the exception of the last fourteen years, moving to Ft. Towson. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Buman White and Raymond White. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Esther White and his grandson, Timothy White. T.A. is survived by seven children, 22 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, all of who loved him very much. His sons and their wives are: Melburn and Nina White, Swink, OK; Don and Rita White, Haworth; and Sam and Trina White of Swink; Daughters and husbands are: Carlita and Jerry Parmer, Little Elm, Texas; Carmaleta and Bill Holt, Ft. Towson; Brenda and Dean George, Ft. Towson; and Mary and Terry Watts, Grand Praire, Texas. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Norwood-Nation Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at the Redland United Methodist Church with Dean George, son-in-law officiating. Interment will follow in Redland Cemetery. Serving as special pallbearers will be Mr. White's fourteen grandsons: Artis White, Rodney Holt, Patrick Parmer, Curtis George, Will Parmer, Tony George, Greg Holt, Bob Parmer, Toby George, Michael George, Billy Walker, Casey White, Matthew White and Collin White.
