James Francis Meisetschlaeger - 1942-2015 James Francis Meisetschlaeger, 73, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015. James was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He gave 38 years of service to the Port Terminal Railroad. James was also an Elder at Gethsemane Lutheran Church for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. James loved spending time with his extended family, especially with his grandson, Zachary. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Meisetschlaeger; children, Michael James Meisetschlaeger, Amanda Ruth Hill and husband David, and John Francis Meisetschlaeger; grandchildren, Rachel Meisetschlaeger, and Zachary Hill; siblings, Susanne Spindler and husband George, Sidney Meisetschlaeger, and Iris Meisetschlaeger. James is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Carl Meisetschlaeger. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 5-8 pm at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held the following morning at 11 am at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 4040 Watonga. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery.
