Obituary Thomas A. Bryant was born September 12, 1844 near Rushville, Missouri; was married to Sarah Davenport, July 4, 1867. To this union six children were born, two girls and four boys, of which only three boys survive:--Amos Bryant and T. E. Bryant of Pawhuska, and Loris Bryant of Big Heart. In 1867 Mr. and Mrs. Bryant moved to Chasa Co., Kansas, here they lived about ten years then moved to Chautauqua Co., Kansas, making that their home until 1893 when they came to Oklahoma. Thomas A. Bryant and wife lived together for forty years, and then God saw fit to separate them for a while. He was a member of the Baptist Church and all those who knew him say βHe was a good man.β He lived in this town about fifteen years then he moved to Pawhuska, where he died July 6, 1914, at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 24 days. Funeral service was at the Methodist Church with the Odd Fellows in charge. Interment at the Ralston cemetery.
