Bio

Graveside services for Mrs. Rosa Sheliga were held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Josephs Cemetery with Deacon Dean Darnall officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary. Serving as pallbearers were Eugene Kubelka, Michael Kubelka, Robert Kubelka, Scott Maliska, Ronnie Valigura and Johnny Vrana. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Keever Chapel. Mrs. Sheliga, 90, died Thursday, May 20, 2004, at the Ennis Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 28, 1914 in Dime Box, TX, the daughter of Josef and Ruzena Kubelka Jurica. She was reared in Ennis and Crisp. On Feb. 10, 1935 she was married to Henry A. Sheliga. After their marriage they lived in Ennis. Mr. Sheliga preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church and the S.P.J.S.T. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Sheliga of Ennis; and 3 nieces. J. E. Keever Mortuary
