It is the Memoriam from the funeral Mass for Sister Mary Clare Parma: Sister Mary Clair Parma, after some difficulty in obtaining permission from her father, left her home and came to the Convent fully determined to become a good and useful Sister of Divine Providence. She had a cheerful view of life, and she did not fail to put the best construction upon the actions of others. Sister Mary Clair possessed the secret of contented and serviceable living; her life was full of kindly deeds, and she was slow to speak ill of anyone. She always seemed to be joyously happy. Her good humor did not leave her during her protracted illness, and she persevered until death in her pious and generous disposition. She died on January 30, 1915 at the age of twenty-nine years, and in the eleventh year of her religious profession. While the Requiem Mass was being celebrated for Sister Mary Evarista the soul of Sister Mary Clair winged its flight to God.
