Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Sun, 10 Jan 1988, page A2, Deaths, L.D. Dunn L.D. Dunn, 79, of Greenville died at 2:15 p.m. Saturday in Citizens General Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Ed Bearfield and Kenneth Johanan officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Born Nov. 23, 1908, in South Sulphur, he was the son of R.J. and Bette Wofford Dunn. He married Modena Lowe Dec. 22, 1951, in Paris. Mr. Dunn was a retired farmer and rancher and a Methodist. He was the former president of the Hunt County Singing Association and a former director of the Hunt County Farm Bureau. Surviving are his wife; son, Jerry Dunn of Celeste; brothers, Fred Dunn of Oakland, Calif., Robert "Bob" Dunn of Cleburne and Andy Dunn of Greenville; sisters, Florence Dunn Sanders of Waxahachie and Jessie Dunn George of San Antonio; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Wyman Johnson, Roy Hogge, L.T. Smith, Glenn Cousins, Robert Scott, and Marshall Blalack.
