Wilma Jean York Pruitt, 59, of Greenbrier died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, at her home. Born March 16, 1943, in Belmore, she was the daughter of Willie and Ethal Martin York. She was a retired employee of the physical plant at Hendrix College and a member of Ben Church of Christ. Survivors include four children, Claretta Anthony, Walt Pruitt and Kelly Davis, all of Greenbrier, and Wes Pruitt of Missouri; five sisters, Marie Stair of Washington, Martha Sutton, Dorthy King, Anna Allgood and Shirley West; a brother, Charles York of Ben; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Margarette Cannon. The funeral was at 10 a.m. today at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home at Greenbrier. Burial was in York Cemetery at Marcella. Pallbearers were Gary York, Rocky Sutton, Randall Sutton, Wes Taylor, Mel West and Johnny West.
